About Amelia
Amelia holds a BA (Hons) in Economic Management from the University of Surabaya (UBAYA) and went on to study AAT and ACCA in Cornwall. She achieved her ACCA qualification in October 2011 and became a Fellow of the ACCA (FCCA) in October 2016 — a distinction held by only the most experienced and senior members of the profession.
After training in a firm of accountants, Amelia spent nearly 12 years working in industry at Allen & Heath Limited, gaining deep, hands-on experience across accounts production, taxation and VAT. In August 2025, she took the step of founding Nexus Cornwall Limited — bringing that wealth of expertise directly to local businesses and individuals.
What sets Amelia apart is her approachable, friendly style. She believes that good accountancy shouldn't feel formal or intimidating — it should feel like a conversation with someone you trust. She brings meticulous attention to detail and genuine care to every piece of work, and takes real pleasure in helping clients understand their finances and plan ahead with confidence.
Outside of work, Amelia enjoys baking, sewing and swimming.

"Following the retirement of our Church Treasurer, Amelia took on the responsibility of managing the Church's bank and investment accounts, including making payments, Gift Aid Returns and reporting to the Diocese and Church of England. The transition was seamless and Amelia quickly made improvements to our accounting processes to improve transparency and efficiency. Within a few months, the annual accounts were due and our auditor was very impressed. Amelia is always prompt in making payments and responsive to any questions we have. She is not only reliable and completely trustworthy but a pleasure to work with."
